Croissants are one of my favorite breads. Croissants are buttery, flaky and French Origin bread. The dough is made with yeast, sugar, salt and lots of butter. The dough is layered with butter and folded couple of times and rolled into sheets. These simple, light and delicious croissants are great to have for breakfast along with a cup of coffee or milk. They can be stores in air tight container for up to 10 days. This recipe is adapted from here . This recipe goes to week 3, day 1 of Blogging Marathon 103 under the theme " Roll and fold for a bun".  Ingredients: All purpose flour / Maida 2  3/4 cups Sugar 3 tbsp Salt 1 tsp Dry Active yeast 2 tsp Butter 1 cup Milk 1/2 cup Water 1/4 cup Egg 1 Preparation: In a large mixing bowl add flour, salt, yeast, sugar and mix well.
