Mango Chia Popsicles

Mango Chia Popsicles are a sweet and healthy treat with just 3 ingredients. Officially Spring / summer hasn't started yet but its little warm here in NJ. Kids are very happy to play outside and have some cold treats after the playtime. I haven't seen mangoes in market yet but I had a can full of mango pulp in my pantry, with which I made this yummy Popsicles. If you find fresh mangoes in market, go ahead and use them instead of pulp.  Under the theme "  Ingredients through mail", my 2nd ingredient, White Chia seeds are  from Usha ( http://www.myspicykitchen.net/ /). I have used Chia seeds in Pudding and cakes earlier, this is the first time am using in Popsicles and it gives a nice texture and taste to them. Here goes the recipe...... Coconut and Berry Popsicle

Coconut water has  been consumed for centuries in tropical countries and is also believed that it treats a variety of health related ailments. Coconut water contains 5 essential electrolytes that are present in human body which includes Calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium  and phosphorous.It is a refreshing  drink to beat the tropical heat.  Coconut and berry Popsicles are healthy and easy to make at home with your kids. As summer just started here in United States, kids started playing outdoor a lot. After a long day at school they come tired looking for some cool treats. Here is the best way to treat your kids with coconut and berry Popsicle. This recipe goes to the Week 1 and  day 3 of BM 65 under the theme "Summer coolers"  Ingredients: Coconut water 1 cup Strawberry 2 Blueberry 10-15 Popsicle molds Preparation: Wash strawberries and blueberries thoroughly. Nutella Popsicles

On a hottest day, nothing seems interesting and refreshing than a icy pop or a Popsicle. A frozen treat which is favorite of grown ups and little ones. Why to get from a store when you can make them right in your kitchen with what ever flavor you want.  Blend everything and fill the molds and freeze them, as simple as that. For day 3 under the theme "Nutella Galore", am here with the delicious Nutella Popsicle.  Ingredients: Almond Milk  2 cups Heavy cream 1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed milk 1/2 cup Nutella 1 cup Popsicle molds Preparation: Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. You can replace regular whole milk with almond milk. Fill the popsicle  molds  with the blended mixture. Freeze it over night or for at least 10 to 12 hours. Let the molds stand in hot water for few seconds to serve. Check to see what my fellow bloggers are cooking for BM 55.
